MICROSOFT PRESS EBOOKS

Every effort has been made to ensure that the text of the eBook matches the text of the print version of the book as much as possible. NOTES ON INSTALLATION OF INTEGRATED EBOOK

Before installing the integrated eBook, the Visual Studio .NET IDE must be closed.

The Visual Studio .NET integrated eBook product requires the following:

* PC with a Pentium II-class processor with 450 megahertz (MHz) or higher 
Recommended:  Pentium III-class with 600 MHz

* Operating System required:
	Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
	Microsoft Windows 2000, or
	Microsoft Windows XP

* Memory required:
	Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation: 64 MB RAM (recommended:  96 MB)
	Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server: 160 MB (recommended:  192 MB)
	Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional: 96 MB RAM (recommended (128 MB)
	Microsoft Windows 2000 Server: 192 MB (recommended 256 MB)
	Microsoft Windows XP Professional: 160 MB RAM (recommended: 192 MB)
	Microsoft Windows XP Home: 96 MB (recommended: 160 MB)

* Disk Space required: 
   	20 MB on system drive, 30 MB for local installation

CD-ROM or DVD-ROM required

You may have more than one PID.TXT file on your hard drive.  If you chose the default install location of your integrated eBook during setup, the PID.TXT file will be located in the folder 

	C:\Program Files\MSPress\BooksOnline\VS .NET Integration - 

followed by the eBook title.
